IVF/FET

Both IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) and FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer) are advanced methods of assisted reproduction, offering effective solutions for individuals and couples looking to overcome fertility challenges. IVF involves stimulating the ovaries, retrieving eggs and creating embryos. FET refers to the transfer of previously frozen embryos into the uterus.

Add step 6. Prepare uterus for transfer of embryo (added to FET section)

IVF Process

1. Consultation: You start with a meeting to discuss your situation and make a plan.
2.Ovarian Stimulation: You receive hormone to stimulate your ovaries to prepare them for retrieval.
3. Egg Retrieval: Your physician will collect the eggs from your ovaries.
4. Sperm Collection: A sperm sample is taken.
5. Fertilization: Eggs and sperm are combined to create embryos in a special dish.

FET Process

6. Uterine stimulation: Prepare uterus for transfer of embryo.
7. Embryo Transfer: A normal embryo is selected and thawed for transfer into the uterus. This is done through the cervix using a thin catheter.
8. Pregnancy Test: A week after your transfer you will have your first blood draw to confirm pregnancy.

6. Uterine stimulation: Prepare uterus for transfer of embryo.
7. Embryo Transfer
8. Pregnancy Test: A test is done to see if you’re pregnant.
